1/4 lb. Giant Burgers

This sign isn’t neon so it may seem an odd place to start, but it was once part of a local chain that has lots of history. Hambrick’s Drive-In was started in 1954 by Jack Hambrick and former Oakland Oaks baseball player Brooks Holder. The original location on San Pablo is gone, but this location and another further down MacArthur survive.
