Note from Artist: “Elegua is always mentioned first in any ceremony, because without his permission, the doors to communication with other Orishas stay closed” so I worked on it first and the day after I completed it, Yemaya came to me in a dream in the form of a Tsunami Tidal wave. I was going to paint Yemaya next. I kept praying to her while I worked.”
