Casper’s or Kasper’s? Or the Original Kasper’s? Kasper’s hot dogs was founded in 1929 by Kasper Koojoolian. In 1939, two cousins broke off and founded Casper’s. Then Kasper died in 1943, and his son-in-law, Harry Yaglijian, took over the business on Telegraph.
The Telegraph location became famous over the years, but it closed in 2003. This location (and a rival Casper’s on Telegraph) live on.
